Valve fixes Counter-Strike 2 Wall Hack glitch; accidentally introduces another

Wall Hack in Counter-Strike 2

Valve goes full Bethesda mode, fixing one glitch to add another in Counter-Strike 2. Recently, prominent streamer Erik “fl0m” Flom found out about an in-game console command that turned on Wall Hack in the game. And now, after fixing it, the developers have added a much more elaborate and bizarre looking one instead.

The new clip comes straight from the “King of CS: GO skins”, Mark himself who goes by the alias of ohnepixel. While testing out the beta and enjoying his time in Counter-Strike 2, he discovers that a new command is now available to enable Wall Hack. And this will give you a pure Matrix feeling.

Valve introduces new commands to turn on Wall Hack in Counter-Strike 2

Wall Hack has been one of the most vulgar hacking methods existing in gaming right now. With the release of Counter-Strike 2, Valve promised to cut down on any suspicious behaviors or hacking habits with an improvised anti-cheat system.

But alas! It seems that currently, Valve is its own enemy. With fl0m showing the world regarding the recent console command that turned on walls inside the game, Valve fixed it as soon as possible. But by doing so, they added another command that turns on a much more descriptive version of it.

In the above clip, you can see that someone in his chat suddenly suggests he use the command. At first, he does not believe what was said. But once he types down the command in the in-game console, he remains astonished.

The new command that turns on this Matrixesque Wall Hack in Counter-Strike 2 is cl_draw_simulating_entities true. Upon entering this command a bunch of hitboxes start flying around all over your screen and everything starts to show in form of backend console commands.

The purpose of Counter-Strike 2 Beta

While this looks pretty concerning the first time you see it, it soon becomes clear. With so much clutter all over your screen, it is almost impossible to see anything, let alone react to it. It is evident that this command exists just for testing purposes and nothing else.

No way can this ever help any player win a match. And even if it is not intended by Valve, this is what a beta testing period is for, right? Rest assured, this will surely be fixed as soon as possible by Valve, just the like the previously raised issue.
