Listing all the confirmed fighters in Tekken 8 so far

1) Jun Kazama

Jun Kazama first appeared in Tekken 2, but that is her only appearance in the franchise until this game. She is the mother of another confirmed character, Jin Kazama.

Even with her negligible appearance in the games, she still has an important role and has gathered many fans of her own. Her fighting style is unique too, and the players are familiar with it. A relative of hers, Asuka Kazama, appeared in Tekken 5 and subsequent games with the same fighting style.

2) Jin Kazama

Jin Kazama is the central character of the series from his first appearance in Tekken 3, and is the son of Jun Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. His grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, trained him to be a strong fighter.

He wishes to avenge the apparent death of his mother Jun Kazama, but was betrayed by his grandfather and had unlocked a Devil Gene within his body. Now, he will appear in Tekken 8 as the main character.

3) Kazuya Mishima

Kazuya Mishima was the protagonist of Tekken (1994). He later became one of the major antagonists of the franchise as he was corrupted by the need for more power.

Kazuya sought revenge against his father, Heihachi Mishima, for throwing him off a cliff many years ago. He will return to Tekken 8 as a villain with his mutated Devil Gene and stand against his son, Jun Kazama.

4) King

King(s) are two characters in the franchise. King 1 appeared in Tekken and Tekken 2, while King 2 has been in all the games since his debut in Tekken 3. They have always been fan-favorites due to their attractive fighting style and charismatic disposition.

King 1 was a ruthless orphan who was saved from his injuries by some priests. He later became a Catholic priest and built an orphanage for street children like him. King 2 was a street urchin who grew up in the first King’s orphanage.

5) Paul Phoenix

Paul Pheonix has appeared in all the Tekken games so far and has received mixed reviews from fans for his personality and strange hairstyle. He is a biker and a judoka, and a rival to Jin Kazama. He repeatedly enters the King of the Iron Fists tournament hoping to prove to the world that he is the best fighter out there, trying his dream in Tekken 8.

6) Lars Alexandersson

Lars was introduced first in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion and was the main character in the story mode for Tekken 6. He was the leader of the group, Yggdrasil, where he commanded his army to stop Jin Kazama and put a halt to the war he started in Tekken 6. This made him severely wounded. He then met a robot called Alisa Bosconovitch, who accompanied him on a journey to find Jin Kazama, and will return in Tekken 8.

7) Marshall Law

Marshall Law runs a restaurant and appeared for the first time in Tekken (1994). He wants to open a martial arts school and wants to fund this dream by winning the King of Iron Fist tournaments. He will appear yet again in Tekken 8.

8) Jack-8

Jack is a series of fighting robots built by the Russian military with the programming data provided by the Mishima Zaibatsu, the worldwide conglomerate of Heihachi Mishima. Jack-8 is thus the eighth installment of this series and has devastating combat mechanics. Since Jack-2, all the Jacks share the same memories.

9) Nina Williams

Nina is the latest addition to the fighting catalog of Tekken 8 and has thus appeared in every franchise entry. She has a lethal fighting style with grapples, throws, and holds. The character had to undergo Cryogenic Sleep at the end of Tekken 2 with her sister, Anna Willams for 15 years. Thus, she remains young throughout the games in the franchise.

This concludes the list of all the fighters in Tekken 8 revealed so far and fans are eager to know who and what will follow them. The title is already promising to be a great play with its new improved gameplay mechanics and new character designs. Thus, you can expect great things from the Tekken franchise once again.
