Originally, the Fortnite v24.30 was expected to be released on April 25, 2023. However, leaks from famous leakers Shiina and iFireMonkey on Twitter have claimed that it is being postponed by a week. Instead of April 25, the update is expected to be released on May 2, 2023.

The reason for this lies in the new collab itself. The leakers have suggested that v24.30 will have another Star Wars collab, thus it will be released on May 2, two days before the Star Wars day, that is, May 4. Just like the release date, there is no official announcement from Epic Games about this as of now.

The upcoming Star Wars skins seem to have these cosmetics in their set, based on the game files:

Codename "CirrusVine":
Skin, Back Bling, Pickaxe, Glider, Wrap

Codename: "PlotTwist":
Skin, Back Bling, Emote, Glider, Wrap, Pickaxe

Although much information about the collab is not out yet, Shiina has claimed that there are a few new cosmetics in the new skins’ set, based on game files. These are:

Codename “CirrusVine”:
Skin, Back Bling, Pickaxe, Glider, Wrap

Codename “PlotTwist”:
Skin, Back Bling, Emote, Glider, Wrap, Pickaxe

Although not much is explicable from these codenames, many fans point towards an Emperor Palpatine skin for the codename “PlotTwist.”

Fortnite update 24.30 bug fixes

Although Epic Games do not generally announce any bug fixes until the day of the patch, fans can check Fortnite’s Trello board to know about the upcoming plans.

We're aware of reports that Large Rocks on the Battle Royale Island are not providing as many materials when Harvested compared to before v24.20.
