Leveling your stats and gear is the penultimate method of getting more powerful in action RPG games but Diablo 4 offers another, and faster way for this. The Altars of Lilith are the most convenient way of leveling up your stats alongside the conventional method for it in this game. Find these monoliths, and gain a significant boost to your stats.

Diablo 4 has some very challenging enemy encounters. The World Bosses and Strongholds are some of the big challenges you will face. Your customary methods of leveling up, getting better gear, or skill points, won’t suffice. Especially in higher difficulties, like the Veteran World Tier.

In this article, you will know everything about the Altars of Lilith and how to use them.

The Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4: What are they and how to use them?

What are they?

Altars of Lilith are structures you can find all around the Sanctuary. Interacting with them will grant you a permanent boost in your stats and XP. You will find them in your zonal map with their specific icons after you come across one.

The effects of the boosted stats are permanent for all the characters you create in Diablo 4 and they carry over. For example, if you get a +2 Strength for your current characters, your alternative characters will gain a +2 in Strength too.

How to use the Altars of Lilith?

Using the Altars of Lilith is pretty straightforward. You just have to interact with the structures, and you will gain the boosts. However, each altar can be used only once per gameplay. Once you have activated an altar, you will not be able to use it again with another character.

The stat boosts from the altars are constant, but the type always varies from one to another. You will get at least one of the following boosts from any Altar of Lilith:

  • +2 Strength
  • +2 Intelligence
  • +2 Willpower
  • +2 Dexterity
  • +8 Maximum Life

You cannot scale infinitely from the Alters of Lilith. Thus, you should try and find all of them across Sanctuary. It is speculated by the fans that there would be 120 Altars of Lilith scattered all around the world of Sanctuary for you to discover in Diablo 4.
