Will your progress be carried to main release? (Image via Blizzard Entertainment)

Diablo 4 is a brand-new RPG developed by Blizzard Entertainment which will be released on June 6, 2023. However, before players can experience the final game, Blizzard recently released a beta version for early experience.

The beta will be in two phases, early access, and open beta. During this period players will be able to level up to 25 and get multiple rewards. However, one question comes to mind of all, and that is whether their progress will be saved.

If put straight forward, the answer is no, your progress will not be carried over to the final release. But, at the same time, it doesn’t mean all of your grinds will go in vain.

Diablo 4 beta progress will not be carried over to the final release, but rewards will

Currently, players who have pre-ordered Diablo 4 are enjoying an early access beta of the game. Soon following this, an open beta will also be launched for all from March 24 to March 27, 2023.

During this period, players will be able to explore and grind in the RPG world and unlock exclusive rewards. A total of three rewards have been added to the game for beta-stage players:

  • Cosmetic: Beta Wolf Pack outfit with a little pet wolf to carry around on journeys after reaching level 20.
  • Title 1: Initial Casualty for any player who reaches Kyovashad in the beta
  • Title 2: Early Voyage for any player who reaches level 20 during the beta participation

All the above-mentioned rewards will be carried over to the final release if players reach the mentioned criteria. However, the gears and other character progress won’t be so as Blizard might add new things later on in the final release and might require players to have a fresh start.
