How to play The Mercenaries DLC
In the Mercenaries mode of Resident 4 Remake, you can play in 3 different maps – The Village, The Castle, and The Island. You will find The Village unlocked already by default. You will have to play through the DLC to unlock The Castle and The Island. Leon will be your initial character to fend off hordes of enemies. A time limit of 2 mins will be given to you at the start, and with every kill, you gain a few seconds. The more enemies you kill, the more points you earn.
You earn a score depending on the fight you put on. Further, the amount of score you have earned has a corresponding rank. Here are they:
- S++ – 1,000,000
- S+ – 500,000
- S – 200,000
- A – 100,000
To unlock other characters like Luis, Krauser, and Hunk, you need to get a rank of A or higher in any stage. You can also unlock a Handcannon Magnum by scoring S or higher rank in all the 3 Stages. This weapon carries over to the main story as well.
This was everything you had to know about the Mercenaries DLC in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
