The first phase of the Genshin Impact 3.6 banner is coming to an end in a few days. Now, the upcoming banner will feature Baizhu as the newest 5-star unit in the game. It is expected to release along with the rate-up 4-star characters, and limited-time weapon banner on May 2, 2023.  

HoYoverse has officially declared the release of Baizhu in the second phase of Genshin Impact 3.6. Thus, fans who have waited for his arrival will be finally able to recruit him to their party. Additionally, Kaveh, the new 4-star unit will be on the banner, so it will be worth their Primogem investment.

As mentioned earlier, the Baizhu banner in Genshin Impact 3.6 is expected to drop on May 2, 2023. Moreover, he will be obtainable alongside Ganyu rerun for a usual period of 21 days. By calculating the time frame, their banner duration should realistically end by May 23, 2023. 

 

Some travelers pull on these banners to acquire the rate up 4-star units or their constellations. On that note, Twitter user HutaoLover77 reported that the following characters will be present on the Baizhu banner. 

  • Kaveh (Dendro)
  • Fischl (Electro)
  • Candace (Hydro)

At a glance, the second phase of the Genshin Impact 3.6 character banner looks promising with the inclusion of both Kaveh and Fischl. Those who are wishing for Baizhu will have a higher chance of acquiring either of them. However, players might also get Candace, who is a fun-to-play niche character to have. 

Kaveh will be the new 4-star Claymore user in the game who will excel at triggering Dendro Cores. He is a Dendro vision holder that will bring unique gameplay to anyone’s account. As for Fischl, her usage has gone up due to her viability in the Spread or Aggravate team composition.

The credible leaker, HutaoLover77, also revealed the featured 4-star weapons on the Epitome Invocation for the duration of the Baizhu banner. Here is a list containing each of those rate-up weapons and their archetype in the game. 

  • Lion’s Roar (Sword)
  • Sacrificial Bow (Bow)
  • Favonius Lance (Polearm)
  • Makhaira Aquamarine (Claymore)
  • Wandering Evenstar (Catalyst)

Now, Baizhu and Ganyu will be the 5-star characters in the second half of version 3.6. Thus, the weapon banner will feature Jadefall’s Splendor and Amos’ Bow as their signature weapon. 

Both Sacrificial Bow and Favonius Lance are excellent support weapons in the game. Travelers who do not have either of them can consider wishing on the Epitome Invocation. Additionally, Lion’s roar, Makhaira Aquamarine, and Wandering Evenstar performs well on some selective units. However, the signature 5-star weapons are only good on certain characters and are not recommended for F2P players.
