Desert Expansion
The upcoming 3.6 version of Genshin Impact will also feature a new location which is an expansion of the Sumeru Desert. The exact location on the map will be on the northwest side of the Desert of Hadramaveth. What’s interesting about the new location is that travelers will find various rifts where monsters once emerged during the disaster of Khaenri’ah.
A unique characteristic of this region is that the Power of the Abyss channels through the land. The location will be desolate and filled with swamps creeping with new monsters to fight with.
There will be a new weekly boss domain in the area alongside exciting quests where players will be able to fly around as Soroush. It will be the newest companion in the game that will have multiple upgradable form.
New Weekly Boss
With the introduction of new areas, there will be new enemies emerging from the shadows. The most remarkable of them all is the new world boss that was shown in the opening of the Genshin Impact 3.6 Special Program. It is reported to be a Dendro Dragon that has three phases.
The first and second phases will be where travelers have to deal sufficient damage and wait for its transformation into the ultimate form. By the end of the second phase, the dragon has to be protected from the spawning enemies.
