There are four ways players can obtain Sinnoh stone in the game. One of which is earning a Research Breakthrough reward by completing a Field Research task. A series of tasks is obtainable by spinning a Photodisc and completing them daily will grant numerous rewards. Additionally, players will also receive a stamp, and collecting seven of them will earn a Research Breakthrough reward. This reward contains items, one of which can be a Sinnoh stone.
Defeating the three Team GO Rocket leaders, Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff, can also grant players a Sinnoh stone. For this, they first need six Mysterious Components obtainable by defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts. After getting them, combining these parts will make a Rocket Radar. This Radar will reveal the location of the Team GO Rocket Leader hideout. Players can encounter one of the three leaders, and beating them will earn rewards like the Sinnoh stone. Also, winning in PvP battles can reward players with the rare item.
Sinnoh stones are also available in the GO Battle league rewards. This league consists of Great, Ultra, and Master League battles available only one at a time. Defeating two sets in a three-set PvP battle will reward players with a Mystery Box. This box contains a pool of items which might include a Sinnoh stone.
