The second month of Pokemon GO Season 10: Rising Heroes marks the return of the Incarnate Forme Landorus as a Raid Boss. This Legendary will appear in the 5-Star Raid battles starting on April 11 at 10 AM local time and ending on April 17, 2023, at 10 AM local time. 

Many trainers have yet to complete the Special Research task of Season of Legends, which includes taking a snapshot of Landorus. This Raid battle provides a perfect opportunity to finish the tasks and claim rewards.

This Legendary is a dual Ground/Flying-type monster with a max CP of 4057 in Pokemon GO. 5-star Raid Battles are one of the tough battles just below Mega Raid. It will be almost impossible to defeat Landorus for unprepared trainers, as it will have a boosted Combat Power as the Raid Boss. Originally found in the Unova region, Incarnate Forme Landorus’s power is boosted in Sunny and Windy weather conditions. The Gen 5 monster is a great attacker with Pokemon GO stats of 261 Attack, 182 Defense, and 205 Stamina. This fighter can absorb plenty of attacks because its high Stamina compliments its defense power, making it a tank. Landorus’s best moveset combines Mud Shot (Fast Move) and Earth Power (Charged Move), dealing 14.54 DPS. 

This Legendary has only two weaknesses, Ice and Water-type attacks. While Ice-type attacks deal 256 %, Water-type attacks deal 160% damage, so using monsters of these types will be super effective against Landorus. 

Skipping Ground, Bug, Electric, Fighting, and Poison-type attacks are advised since the monster can easily resist them. Players can utilize the Same Type of Attack Bonus (STAB) effect by attacking Landorus with Ice and Water-type moves matching the counters’ innate type-attribute.

A team of 2 trainers in ideal conditions with the best counters can easily defeat Landorus. However, it is safe to have 3 to 5 high-level trainers or 6-8 low-level trainers with the best counters for a guaranteed win. Since it is 2 times weak against Ice-type attacks, most of its counter comprises Ice-type monsters. That said, we have created a list of the best counters for Landorus with their respective moveset.

Since Landorus does not spawn in the wild, the only way to capture it is by defeating it in Raid Battles. Shiny Landorus (Incarnate) is already available in Pokemon GO, so lucky players might get the chance to encounter it after defeating it. This legendary will also feature in Raid Hour on April 12 at 6 PM and ending at 7 PM local time.
