PlayStation

LongSensationYT, the YouTuber who accurately leaked the new Call of Duty title, i.e., Modern Warfare, has tweeted some details about the PS5 reveal. According to them, Sony will reveal the PS5 at the beginning of June, prior to E3.

They tweeted about the PS5 reveal on March 17th in reply to a question asked by one of their followers. Talking about the reveal they said, “Conflicting sources, but defo not at E3. Mostly hearing it will be revealed at the beginning of June (trailer) and then playable at Sony’s individual event.”

Taking the discussion further, they described what to expect from Sony’s own event. “They will be announcing the PS5, more info on games like TLOU2, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsunami etc. It’s not just for COD.”

Up until now, Sony has discussed the PS5’s CPU and GPU specifications, SSD, Backward Compatibility, Ray Tracing, 8K Support, Disc Support and 3D Audio. However, Release Date, Price, Games, User Experience and Country Rollout are the topics they haven’t spoken of yet.

Sony still has a couple of AAA titles for the current-gen console – The Last of Us Part II, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding. It’d be interesting to witness Sony announcing the games with or after the PS5 reveal.
