The best part of the upcoming arc will be the revelation of Upper Rank 1, Kokushibo, who is the brother of the legendary Demon Slayer, Yoriichi. The former has maintained his reputation as the Upper Rank 1 for 500 years, which says a lot about his strength. Upper Rank 2, Doma, Upper Rank 4, Hantengu, and Upper Rank 5, Gyokko will also be featured in the season.

His story has a significant influence over the entire plot and thus, Demon Slayers’ history through his tale is expected to be explored further in the forthcoming season.

Demon Slayer is enriched with sword culture and depth in warrior history. Yoriichi was the progenitor of the Demon Slayer Corps. He, like Tanjiro, wore Hanafuda earrings and is regarded as the first Breath user. He invented the legendary Sun Breathing style, from which all other Breathing forms evolved.

The season will also showcase the sword Yoriichi used, which was placed inside a training model of himself. Tanjiro will decapitate it and the 300-year-old hidden sword will come out.

Mitsuri is also a high-ranked warrior, who is quite skilled and calm at the same time. Her shyness has been mistaken to be her weakness quite a few times, which is not true as she is an elite warrior.
