2K Sent Private Investigators To Monitor The Home Of A Borderlands 3 Streamer

The popular YouTuber SupMatto posted a video in which he claimed that two private investigators came to his home and interrogated him on behalf of Take-Two Interactive about the leaked content of Borderlands 3 on his channel.

In the video, SupMatto acknowledged having published information that had not been officially disclosed, stating that he did it honestly and that it was data available from other sources such as Reddit.

According to IGN, 2K confirmed that it has been investigating this case for almost a year, since this fan “benefits by breaking our policies and filtering confidential information about our product, and infringing our copyright.” The developer adds that the leaked information “is incomplete and, in some cases, is false. Not only were many of his actions illegal, but they were negatively affecting the experience of other content creators and our fans.”

SupMatto, on the other hand, has explained that his social networks have suffered different complaints of content and that he is currently taking a break and not following the news of this expected title.

The GearBox shooter will arrive in stores September 13.
