Aaron Carter may have been gone for a few days, but the absolute truth behind his untimely death is yet to be uncovered. Recently, there have been theories and rumors circulating the internet that his on-and-off fiancee, Melanie Martin, is involved in Aaron Carter’s passing. “You’re going to die” – Melanie Martin to Aaron Carter
Known to some, Aaron Carter has been suffering from a huffing addiction. This condition lets the patient get high by inhaling fumes from the usual house products such as air freshener, paint, glue, and more. In an IG live stream from Aaron Carter days before his death, Carter reportedly received a message saying:
“If it’s true what you’re doing, you’re not going to end up alive. You’re going to die.“
This message was believed to be from Aaron Carter’s on-and-off fiancee, Melanie Martin. Although fans think that Martin is threatening Carter, this is extremely taken out of context. Especially that Carter thinks it’s f*cked up that he would receive such kind of message already speaks a lot. The message also added a compassionate remark which means Melanie only cares for the late singer.
“I love you, this is not safe. Please don’t do this to yourself.”
This message could be connected to the never-ending battle Carter had with his addiction. As a longtime partner, the message could be a warning by Melanie to Aaron regarding his disastrous condition. Since 2011, Aaron Carter has been in and out of rehab centers for his huffing addiction but he continuously fails to change his ways. He has also been clinically diagnosed with multiple personality disorders, schizophrenia, acute anxiety, and manic depression.

However, all roads still lead to Melanie Martin. Just earlier this year, Carter and Martin fought for the custody of their son. During the hearing, he accused his ex-fiancee of “emotional distress, anguish, shoving, & scratching”. Additionally, Carter claimed she used the threat of suicide to abuse him “emotionally”.

As a celebrity couple, Melanie Martin and Aaron Carter had a lot of ups and downs in their relationship. Due to their mental struggles and addiction, the two began to butt heads with each other which eventually lead to a split.
In the final days leading to Carter’s death, fans noticed some subtle hints in one of Carter’s live streams. That being said, the claims that Melanie Martin is involved in the former child star’s death still have no basis. If we look at it from Martin’s point of view, her message is meant to warn Carter about the consequences of his addiction. She has been actively asking Carter to go into rehab and be cured of his current huffing condition. Despite all her efforts, Aaron Carter’s fans still think Martin had something to do with his death.
