South Korean actor Song Kang has been one of the stars who took the industry by storm with his visuals and talent. In a recent appearance for Sweet Home 2 promotions, Song Kang revealed his military enlistment plans, and here’s what you need to know.
When Will Be Song Kang’s Military Enlistment?
On November 30, exactly a day before the premiere of Netflix’s Sweet Home 2, the cast and crew attended a press conference. The series’ first season was released in 2020, and it took them a few years to finish the second. Song Kang shared how Sweet Home helped him grow personally and professionally.
- He plays the main character of the series, Hyun Soo. According to allkpop, Song Kang said that the series made him who he is at this point. “Sweet Home is a very meaningful project for me, one of the projects which made me who I am today.” To perfectly portray the role, he also worked internally to showcase the ideas and feelings of Hyun Soo as a fantasy creature.
The actor went on to answer questions and touched on his plans for the future. He then mentioned his nearing service. Song Kang shared that Sweet Home 2 may be his last project before starting his military enlistment service. “It is my natural duty, so once I finish up promotion schedules for ‘Sweet Home 2,’ I will fulfill my duties and return in good health,” he stated.
