One League player has discovered a unique application for the summoner spell that can assist you in avoiding a more enigmatic conversation. The user demonstrated how they used the Teleport summoner spell to avoid imminent death while playing Akali in a video posted to Reddit.
In the video, an opponent Yasuo is recalling back to base when the Akali player sees him. They used Shuriken Flip to mark the champion and engaged its dash just before the recall. This caused Akali to trail into the opposing fountain and likely death.
Akali activated Teleport to return to their own Nexus tower during this extended glide towards the enemy Nexus. The champion was transferred safely to their base just minutes before he would have landed on the enemy pad.
This encounter is unlikely to have happened many times before, if at all. It is unlikely that players can easily replicate this. However, if you’re an Akali, you should be aware that you may be able to use Teleport to help you live.
Riot has added two more elemental drakes to the Rift during the preseason. The Hextech drake is one of them. Its soul grants you a buff similar to the old Statikk Shiv; the alterations it makes to a map include portals that allow you to, well, portal between two connected portals when you’re not in combat. This drake appears to be very balanced and has some potential for macro outplays while not offering an undue advantage to one team that cannot be matched. READ MORE…
