Almost a year after its soft launch, Apex Legends Mobile will finally be available to the public by next week. Respawn issued the announcement through their official Twitter account.
The announcement garnered mixed reactions from players all over because it will only be available in ten countries for now.
According to Respawn, the purpose of the limited regional launch is to test out the game’s features before its global launch. Players residing in the following countries will be able to download the game once it is live on both the App Store and Play Store:
The playable Legends in Apex Legends Mobile are Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder, and Caustic. We can expect other Legends to be playable once Respawn is able to smooth out any bugs and issues in the game’s release next week.
Here are the minimum requirements to run the game, according to Respawn’s FAQ
- Android 8.1
- Open GL 3.0 or higher
- 3 GB free space
- At least 3 GB RAM
- Screens size: N/L/XL
- iPhone 6S or later
- OS version: 10.0 or later
- CPU: A9
- 3 GB free space
- At least 2GB RAM
Unlike Fortnite’s mobile port, Apex Legends Mobile will not feature cross-play with the PC and console versions of Apex Legends. According to the developers, “Apex Legends Mobile is being built specifically for mobile” so players can expect a different experience for the game.
Apex Legends Mobile, like its PC and console version, will be free to download sometime next week. Let us know in the comments below if you’ll be trying it out! For more content, stay with us, here at Spiel Times.
