Currently, on its ninth season, Apex Legends has taken the gaming world by storm! Making itself one of the most popular games out there. Season 9 – Legacy was launched on May 4, 2021. It’s still has a few more weeks to go but Season 10 already has a release date. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming season of Apex Legends.
Release
Apex Legends Season 10 release date was revealed on the official EA website along with some minor details about the new legend, the map changes that will take place, and more. The official release date for the upcoming season is set to be August 3, 2021. Season 10 of Apex Legends would be called Emergence, instead of simply being given a season number. The season bring loads of new content for players to check out and enjoy.
The New Legend
A new legend is also set to launch in Season 10 and here’s what we know about it. The new legend would be known as Seer, who is a mystical legend with glowing blue eyes and small drone companions.
Apparently, he is a cursed person from birth who has some blue supernatural powers to use in combat. He will be able to see what other Apex Legends players are unable to see and apart from this, nothing else is known or revealed about this character as of now.
But there have been some leaks about a character earlier and it was suggested that it could see enemy health bars and the location of other players. That might as well have been about Seer but it’s not official. For more official information on the character, we might have to wait for a few weeks.
What Else?
Some other details which were hinted at, are as follows:
- This time around, the battle royale location that will focus on the changes will be none other than World’s Edge.
- World’s Edge will take center stage once more, with some “major changes” on the way soon when the Apex Legends Season 10 release date drops.
- Something underground will either erupt or explode and allow for lava (or something else) to emerge upon the map, hence, changing locations completely.
- One other special addition in the 10th season is a new gun, Rampage LMG, that the Apex Games’ resident inventor Rampart has come up with.
- Also, ranked battle royale will be joined by the new addition to the competitive playlists with ranked Arena.
