Apex Legend’s Season 10 was revealed in a trailer today and as it was previously announced, it’s titled Emergence. The most exciting thing about this trailer was a new character, who we all know was coming.
“Tune in to #EAPlayLive NOW for the premiere of the Apex Legends: Emergence Launch Trailer. Are you watching closely?”, read the tweet from @PlayApex
We’ll talk more about the new legend but first, watch the trailer below!
Seer
As you can see, the trailer mostly focuses on a new legend, Seer who is all set to launch with the new season, as a new playable character. Seer is a mystical legend with glowing blue eyes and small drone companions.
- It was earlier revealed that he is a cursed person from birth who has some blue supernatural powers to use in combat.
- It was also said that he will be able to see what other Apex Legends players are unable to see and now we know exactly what it is.
- Seer is the first type of tracker Legend to come into the game since Bloodhound. He has the ability to utilize the swarm of tracking drones that he has in his chest, using which he can track and find enemies in Kings Canyon.
- His passive is something like a heartbeat sensor, which he can use when he is aiming down the sight of his weapon. The greatest thing is that he would be able to tell you exactly where nearby opponents are. Hence you can have a lot of fun with this ‘stealth-orientated’ tracker and use his incredible abilities straightaway upon his release.
Seer Kit and Abilities
To make it easier for you, his skillset is as follows:
- Passive: Seer can sense the heartbeats of enemies when he’s aiming down his sights.
- Tactical: When he senses a heartbeat, Seer can activate his Tactical ability to send drones from his chest to hunt down nearby enemies
- Ultimate: “In certain gameplay situations” Seer can send out hundreds of drones which create a dome that tracks fast-moving enemies inside.
Apart from this one can see that the graphics look amazing, and Seer’s look is incredibly shady and intriguing. He has a noir-era detective look with a huge black hat and slim armor to help his stealth movement.
He seems neither offensive nor defensive. However, he could be seen carrying the new Rampage Thermite LMG in a few scenes. His finisher has a really cool animation, and you can see the enemy in fear, as a few drones pop out of his chest and finish him off.
That’s all the information we have for now. Next week the developers will release an official gameplay video with lots of more details about Apex Legends: Emergence.
