Release date and cost
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök is set to be released on 10th March 2022.
- The expansion is not included in the Season Pass and it costs $39.99 / £34.99. Those who pre-purchase the DLC now will get the fire-tinted Twilight Pack, which has a gear set, mount skin, and raven skin.
Story
Dawn of Ragnarök is a 35-hour expansion for the game. This expansion is based on Nordic culture, legends, and mythology, rather than history.
It features Eivor assisting Odin in saving the god’s son Balder from the fire giant Surtur, with the Nine Realms in jeopardy.
“Faced with visions of a new threat, Eivor must embrace their destiny as Odin and enter the mythical dwarven realm of Svartalfheim, a beautiful but hostile world under invasion.”
Gameplay
We will be using a set of completely new powers, new weapons and armors, new features, and more. We can also shapeshift into Raven to scout and dive into unsuspecting enemies from above to assassinate them. Moreover, we will also be able to absorb powers directly from our defeated foes, or even resurrect them to fight by our side. Further information will be released by Ubisoft soon.
