BattleBit Remastered is a low-polygon count tactical FPS that supports up to 254 players in a single server. The game plays out like typical Battlefield games, but looks like Roblox. Popular gamers from YouTube have been trying its early access version and according to their experience, it’s a lot of fun! The fact that only 3 people made this game is mind boggling. BattleBit has ‘very positive’ reviews on Steam. This is an eye-opener for big AAA developers who are bringing out the same expensive and graphically demanding IP every year that are monotonous and boring to play.
Gameplay Elements
The game will provide you with a chaotic yet smooth and satisfying gameplay experience.
Some of the key gameplay information are:
- BattleBit remastered has a variety of weapons like assault rifles, snipers, LMG, SMG, pistols and marksman rifles. They do lack in two weapon types, namely shotgun and melee.
- Keep in mind that certain weapons and weapon types are only available according to the factions or class you choose.
- Currently there are six classes you can pick from which are Squad Leader, Assault, Medic, Engineer, Support, and Recon.
- There are plenty of maps that will serve as your battleground. they are as follows – Azagor, Basra, District, Dusty Dew, Eduardovo, Lonovo, Multu Islands, Namak, Oil Dunes, Salhan, Sandy Sunset, Wakistan and Wine Paradise.
- Almost all of these maps feature a nearly fully-destructible environment.
- You can also ride a number of vehicles within the game like military cars, tanks, boats and helicopters.
- You can use bandages to heal yourself and will also be able to revive a nearby downed teammate.
Modes
Battlebit has two game modes. They are explained as following:
- Assault and Secure – It is essentially a capture the flag mode where players capture certain waypoints like A, B, or C and simultaneously defend them from enemy attacks. Successfully conquering an area will accumulate points for your team over time. Reaching a certain score will decide the winner.
- Rush Mode – In this mode, one team will only attack, aiming to destroy a target. The opposing team will defend against the attacks by killing as much opponents as possible.
You have three options to choose between for the number of players you want in a lobby. The options are as follows
- 32 vs 32 – This is the lowest player count that can be in a single server. 32 each side will still provide an intense gameplay.
- 64 vs 64 – It is a balanced mode where 64 a side will ensure huge yet strategic battles.
- 127 vs 127 – On choosing 127 players a side get ready for an action packed, chaotic, over the top gameplay experience.
