Battlefield Twitter Reveals What Battlefield V's "V" Stands For

In a reply to one of their fans, the Battlefield Twitter account confirmed the long speculated full-form of the V in Battlefield V.

Yes, of course it’s Battlefield 5 if we see where the series is going, but that’s not what the developers are calling it.

Battlefield V is actually Battlefield Victory. The tweet says, “The phrase and sign were popularized by Winston Churchill and used amongst the allies for much WWII.”

That’s also one reason why EA went with the Roman V instead of 5 for the game’s title.

Origin has revealed the official system requirements for Battlefield 5. Check ’em out.
