BLACKPINK’s Pink Venom is out now
At exactly midnight EST and afternoon in Korea, the famous girl group dropped their pre-release single entitled Pink Venom on music and streaming platforms worldwide. This is BLACKPINK’s first song to be released after almost two years of no group activities. This comeback surely may turn out big as their fans, BLINKs, waited long enough for them.

- The music video opens with JISOO’s visual, while JENNIE raps the first lines of the song. The repetitive and addictive chorus part is delivered by their rapper line, JENNIE and LISA, followed by their vocal line with ROSÉ and JISOO turn heads with their verses and bridge.

As mentioned above, BLACKPINK turned live for their Countdown Livestream for Pink Venom’s release. Around a million people tuned in to the four-member girl group’s stream. Moreover, they mentioned a few schedules and activities ahead of them for this year.
- Firstly, the girl group drops their second full album, BORN PINK, on September 16, 2022, almost a month after today’s pre-release. They are yet to announce the number of tracks to look forward to, but pre-ordering started on August 11.
- In line with the release of the pre-release single, a challenge comes to fans. BLACKPINK urges fans to send love and participate with their #PinkVenomChallenge on YouTube Shorts. Anyone can join the challenge, you just have to upload your video and add the hashtag!
- Moreover, the global girl group also mentions the BORN PINK World Tour. The said concert tour starts in Seoul, South Korea in October. It runs until next year as the girls visit different regions and countries around the globe. BLACKPINK’s main rapper, JENNIE says (translated during the live stream),
“We will perform many new songs as well. it is a new version of BLACKPINK, so look forward!”
- Also, the members share about the Light Up The Pink campaign happening in certain areas of the world. ROSÉ says, “The campaign will make the landmarks pink. Yesterday, the N SEOUL TOWER was lit up, and also Tokyo Tower, Brooklyn Bridge, Santa Monica Pacific Wheel, and more, they will be pink!”
