Jungkook confirms BTS V Taehyung solo album

BTS Jungkook once again made headlines with his live stream, but this time it was regarding his BTS hyung (older brother in Korean) V. In the recent livestream, the Seven singer was catching up with his fans, listening to fan-made songs, and discussing AI vocal covers when a particular slip made ARMYs rejoice that V’s solo debut album will release soon.

ARMYs react to Jungkook hinting KTH1 in a livestream

The BTS members have been pursuing solo projects as they fulfill their mandatory military service duties. Members including JIN, SUGA, j-hope, and RM released their record-breaking solo projects, and they were soon followed by Jimin’s first solo album release FACE.

  • In July, the maknae of the group also released his solo single Seven ft Latto, and fans are already anticipating his confirmed solo debut album. The next member that ARMYs are waiting for is also the last to release his first solo project — V.
  • After getting some hints here and there that made the #KTH1isComing trend worldwide, ARMYs are finally beginning to receive some dependable hints of its progress. One such hint came in the recent livestream of Jungkook when he read a comment asking if he heard V’s solo debut album.

  • Instead of avoiding the question with ambiguous answers, Jungkook used the opportunity to ask if the ARMYs had heard the announcement. This hint was already enough to make the fans rejoice in happiness when he continued to spill the beans.
  • Jungkook said he had listened to some of the songs from BTS V‘s upcoming solo album. He also complimented Taehyung as an artist and said his songs are good. Another confirmation of BTS V’s solo album

BTS Jungkook isn’t the only one who has confirmed the upcoming solo album of V ahead of official announcements. Kim Young Dae, the acclaimed critic and Selection Committee member for Korean Music Awards, also shared spoilers during a recent interview.

  • Kim Young Dae attended the Asia Culture Center (ACC) humanities lecture exploring BTS’ career and success in celebration of their 10th debut anniversary on July 26. He reviewed all 16 albums of the global superstars and analyzed their impact in the United States. While doing so, he especially praised BTS V for his baritone voice with soulful depth and texture, as well as his charms.

  • He also shared that he got the chance to listen to his upcoming solo album around two months ago. Further claiming that ARMYs will be blown away by the album as it features Taehyung’s honey-laced voice in one of its most natural forms.

These confirmations from Jungkook and critic Kim Young Dae ahead of the official announcements have made fans of Taehyung believe the album must release sooner than later. Subsequently, they are holding their breaths for the official release date as each new hints raise anticipation. However, BIGHIT MUSIC has not yet released any statements about the upcoming solo album of BTS V.
