Cyberpunk 2077’s Publisher, CD Projekt Red, recently announced that the first expansion for the game is being planned and will hit the stage in early 2023. CD Projekt Red is also working on huge projects such as a remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and an upcoming Witcher 4.

After the release of patch 1.5, things are already going well for Cyberpunk 2077. Even if that is the case, CD Projekt Red is still working on the betterment of the game.

“We are fully committed to the Cyberpunk franchise, and intend to develop it further,” CD Projekt Red CEO Adam Kiciński said.

“We’ve recently released a new set of improvements for Cyberpunk, and we are also working on the next update, 1.6, which will be out in the coming months. Afterwards, support for Cyberpunk will continue, but our focus will gradually shift to the new, exciting endeavors in both Cyberpunk and The Witcher franchises. Right now, the bulk of our team is working on the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion that is targeted to be released in 2023.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world action RPG released in 2020 which was the most-hyped game back then.

Well, for the most part, it was mainly because of Keanu Reeve’s appearance (no offense Cyberpunk).

After its initial release in December 2020, the game received lots of negative feedback and backlash. The reasons behind this are the bugs and glitches experienced by the gamers. Since then, the developers dedicated themselves to correcting the errors and giving the best quality to their users.

After major updates and bug fixes, CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk 2077 seem to be now on a steady course. As a result, they are already taking the next step to make the game more appealing to gamers.
