Coronavirus: DOOM and Animal Crossing Being Sold Two Days Early By Dutch Retailer Due To Coronavirus

The coronavirus outbreak has not only affected people socially but is also causing a lot of havoc economically. As the world prepares to take action against the outbreak by shutting down places of gathering, many businesses are suffering losses. To curb that, some businesses are looking at alternatives.

Game Mania has decided to sell two games, Death Stranding and Animal Crossing two days early. That is because of the fact that their stores are shutting down from 19th onwards. Their stores will also be open till 19:00, an hour longer so people can get the games.

This is a pretty surprising move. Retailers aren’t usually allowed to sell stuff before the release date officially unless the publisher instructs them to do so. Whether Bethesda or Nintendo has actually instructed them to do this is something that isn’t known yet.
