The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has not yet affected the launch of the PS5. The claim comes from BAAS Amsterdam, the PR agency for Sony Interactive Entertainment Benelux. At least, for the time being.

The Bonami game console Museum in Zwolle, Netherlands is setting up a PlayStation 5 Experience zone. The museum will be one of the first receivers of the PS5 when it comes out. The preparations started last week. The museum is preparing all sorts of decorations to give players a feel of the next-generation.

“Gamers are looking forward to the arrival of the PlayStation 5,” said John Groenewold, the owner of the Bonami SpelComputer Museum. “Our museum will receive the PS5 as one of the first in the Netherlands. We are already preparing for this so that visitors can experience the differences between the PS4 and PS5 for themselves. Naturally, we also have something fun in store for the Xbox enthusiasts, more about that later.”

The question is, will the spread of COVID-19 affect the preparations?

BAAS, the Amsterdam PR agency for Sony Interactive Entertainment Benelux, has informed LetsGoDigital that coronavirus has not yet delayed the launch of the PlayStation 5 for the time being.
