Then, the biggest upset in football history happened between Saudi Arabia and Argentina after KSA beat Lionel Messi’s team, 2-1, in a dramatic fashion. Also recently, the 2nd best team in the world, Belgium, was eliminated in a scoreless draw against Croatia. Meanwhile, title favorites, Germany, was also eliminated in the group stage by the surprising Japanese national team.

Cristiano Ronaldo to Al-Nassr Football Club rumors

There are rumors surrounding the football superstar about his alleged €200 Million per year contract for two and a half years to join the Saudi Arabian team. Ronald, 37, will only not be the highest paid football player, he will also be the highest paid athlete of all time.

However, in a recent interview, CR7 has denied the rumor and said that “No, it isn’t true”. Even as a premiered free agent, Ronaldo has only received a single offer from any football club. Currently, CR7 is headlining the Portuguese national team in FIFA World Cup 2022 and are one of the title favorites this year.

The superstar striker from Portugal ended his journey in United but their split was bitter to the very end. Despite all of that, he is leading Portugal in the World Cup and he is en route to finally winning his first World Cup championship. His future after this year’s tournament is still uncertain but we will be seeing some action come 2023.

Ronaldo played for Man Utd between between 2003 and 2009. He came back years later in 2021 but left in November of this year. Additionally, the Portuguese national also played for Real Madrid in Spain. Furthermore, in about two decades of playing, Ronaldo was also a 5-time Ballon d’Or winner.
