The Indian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community finally has a reason to cheer up. The Indian Qualifiers for Electronics Sports World Cup 2016, or ESWC 2016, are coming up soon.

The ESWC is a huge platform for Indian gamers to show their talent and make a mark in the world gaming community. Believing the official statement from NODWIN Gaming, this is going to be a big chance for 5-player teams to establish dominance against the world’s best players.

The prize pool is $75,000 and the grand finals will take place in Paris expo Porte de Versailles – an exhibition center in Paris, France. The finale starts on 27th October.

The entire qualifiers event for Indian CS:GO is segmented into three phases. All three phases have their own regulations. Here are the details:

Open Online Qualifier: 16th and 17th September

  • Registration on toormanent.com at http://bit.ly/eswcindia16_csgo
  • All matches are Best-of-One Single Elimination.
  • Quarter-finals are Best-of-Three.
  • Top 4 teams will advance to the next stage.

The restrictions:

  • Teams are required to send digital copies (XEROX/Scan) of valid Indian passports for all 5 individual participants to [email protected] at the time of registration.
  • Teams are not allowed to make any changes in their roster (members list) after their registrations. Violation will result in immediate disqualification.

 Online Playoffs: 18th September

  • Top 4 qualifying teams matched up with the top 4 teams invited from India.
  • All matches are Best-of-Three Single Elimination.
  • Top 4 teams advance to the final stage, LAN finals.

 LAN Finals: 22nd September

  • Organized at NODWIN Gaming Head Office, Gurgaon.
  • All matches are Best-of-Three Single Elimination.
  • Winner represents India in ESWC 2016 happening in October in Paris, will be sponsored flights and accommodation for the finals.

It won’t be an overestimation to expect some of the greatest and smartest CS:GO players in Gurgaon’s final LAN party elimination matches. Winner gets to represent India in the ESWC 2016 – a big place for gaming enthusiasts.
