In the interview, Garvin confirmed that the game will take over 30 hours+ to finish depending on the choices the player makes. It is these choices that give a certain uniqueness to the game, where the decisions made will affect the overall experience of the player.

“The golden path is going to take you about 30 hours, but it’s going to take you a lot longer than that because things are going to happen to you along the way depending on how careful you are and how much you pay attention.” -quoted Garvin.

For those unaware, Days Gone is an open-world zombie survival PS4 exclusive game that is presently being developed by Sony Bend Studio.
