How to Get the Taraxippos Scout Rifle
- Complete the initial Guardian Games Quest given by Eva Levante. This guarantees you a Taraxippos drop.
- Grab a class item and a Vanguard playlist Contender card.
- Complete one of the playlist activities like Strikes, which will fulfill the requirements for the Best in Class quests.
- Talk to Zavala and Shaxx, and you’ll receive your guaranteed Taraxippos drop with Zen Moment and either Kill Clip (for PvP) or Explosive Payload (for PvE).
Tip: To get multiple Taraxippos drops quickly, participate in the competitive Guardian Games playlist, which provides a high chance of obtaining Platinum-rated rewards.

- Outlaw: Improve reload speed after a precision shot.
- Zen Moment: Improve accuracy.
- Fourth Time’s the Charm: Conserve ammo.
- Moving Target: Improve strafe speed.
- Offhand Strike: Enhance hip-fire accuracy.
- Gut Shot Straight: Improve body shot damage.
Second Main Perk Slot Options:
- Keep Away: Gain benefits when engaging distant enemies.
- Kill Clip: Boost damage after a kill and reload.

PvE Taraxippos God Roll:
- Outlaw and Explosive Payload, combined with the Guardian Games origin trait, Classy Contender (provides class ability energy on kills), create an excellent PvE Scout Rifle God Roll.
- Tip: Look out for Gut Shot Straight and Explosive Payload combo, as it may increase damage all the time, making it valuable for PvE.
PvP Taraxippos God Roll:
- Hammer Forged and Accurized Rounds for increased range, No Distractions for a reduced flinch, and Kill Clip for boosted damage after a kill and reload.
- Alternatively, consider Moving Target for improved strafe speed or Cascade Point for rapid-fire after getting a precision kill with another weapon.
