Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 2: Resurrected, the remake of the 21-year-old critically acclaimed game, is one of the most anticipated and the biggest game to be released this year. The new release features gameplay enhancements and a range of improvements. It is going to be released on the 23rd of September for PC, PS 4, OS 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

As we draw closer and closer to the release, there has been a steady stream of character class tailers being released. This is building the hype for the game, as expected. The latest trailer to be released was the shapeshifting Druid class’s trailer, right after the Barbarian class trailer was released.

Druid Class

A unique and prominent class, the Druid class makes up an important part of the Diablo franchise. They are known as the keeper of the wilds, with their nature-based abilities that help in fighting enemies and transforming into creatures such as the werewolves. The Druid, an Elemental magic wielder, can summon and command creatures to do their wills, such as the Dire Wolf Grizzly, the Raven, or the Spirit Wolf. The Druid also corresponds to a great number of builds. Players can choose whether would like to go down the physical or the spell-focused path for the Druid. Under a spell-focused build, players can select Tornado, Molten Boulder, Firestorm among many others.

  • The trailer features the Druid using different types of spells of the winds, fire, and earth, which seem to be a mix of area-of-effect attacks and direct attacks. Then we can see the Druid transform into a werewolf with huge claws, attacking enemies.
  • Then we get a  glimpse of the werebear that kills demons with its powerful strength and dangerous teeth. The final part features various animal companions alongside the keeper of the wilds, a signature ability of the Druid class. Check out the video below.
