Diablo 4 beta guide: How to repair your gear?

Blacksmith in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 is the latest RPG from Blizzard Entertainment and will be launched on June 6, 2023. However, players are given the chance to play it early this weekend. This beta will last from March 24, 9 am PDT to March 27, 12 pm PDT.

When playing the game, players will find that their equipment loses their durability slowly after use. If not taken care of, there is a likelihood they will be rendered useless, thus requiring repairs.

In Diablo 4 they’ll need to interact with a blacksmith to fulfill their repairing needs. This article will explain how they can find the NPC and repair their gear for adventures to come.

Blacksmiths are needed to repair gears in Diablo 4

It is important to keep gears in check or they will lose their durability and will require blacksmiths to repair them. Luckily, Diablo 4 has many blacksmiths located in almost every town and village in the game. By visiting them, you’ll be able to repair your gear to keep them in good condition.

In order to recognize a blacksmith, look for an anvil icon on the map and go to that landmark. Once you reach there, interact with them and you’ll find the repair option on top of their dialogue box.

When repairing, you’re displayed with three different options:

  • Repair items directly in inventory
  • Repair equipped items
  • Repair all items in your inventory

You can also salvage unwanted gears in Diablo 4 at a blacksmith, and you can gain inventory space and crafting materials by doing so. It is also essential to keep inventory spaces in check as you will not be able to make room for better gear.

Crafting materials can be used to upgrade powerful gears in Diablo 4. So it is better to keep the habit of salvaging unrequited materials to make the best out of your favorite equipment.
