Back at BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard announced they were developing a mobile version of Diablo. However, it was not received warmly by long-time fans of the game since it’s going to be on mobile. But after a long time of Blizzard going silent about the project, they have now released new details about Diablo: Immortal: it’s releasing on PC and Mobile this June.

Diablo: Immortal will feature cross-play between PC and Mobile

Blizzard announced the game’s release date during their most recent Livestream. According to game director Wyatt Cheng, they’re fully prepared for Diablo: Immortal for both PC and mobile. For the PC version, players have the choice of using the standard mouse and keyboard set-up. Or they can hook up their controllers and use that instead.

Moreover, Diablo: Immortal will allow cross-play and cross-save for both platforms. So not only do you get the convenience of playing Diablo: Immortal on your phone if you’re on the go; you also get to play with others even if you’re not on the same platform.

The game takes place between Diablo II and Diablo III

If you’ve been a long-time player of Diablo, chances are you’re confused about what happened between the second and third game. In Diablo: Immortal, we’ll get to know just exactly what occurred. Diablo: Immortal will have you take on the main story quest that happens through eight zones. Players can choose from six character classes in the new game. These are the Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard classes.
