Elden Ring: ‘Could Not Verify PlayStation Plus’ EASY FIX

Things were updated and adjusted for a better gameplay experience with the previous v1.03 update for Elden Ring. Several weapon skills were nerfed, several problems were corrected, and several new components were added to the game. ‘Could Not Verify PlayStation Plus’ EASY FIX

We compiled a list of possible fixes for PlayStation users who are having a hard time logging in on their accounts. This ‘Could Not Verify PlayStation Plus’ error/bug is so annoying that a lot of players are searching for remedies and hope to fix the issue soon.

NOTE!!!! DO NOT UPDATE PS PLUS OR YOUR CONSOLE JUST YET! THE ERROR ‘Could Not Verify PlayStation Plus’ IS A SERVER ISSUE. THIS BUG IS NOT FIXABLE. PLAYERS JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANY UPDATES FROM THE DEVELOPERS.

***If any players haven’t updated their systems yet, we recommend playing offline in the meanwhile.

EASY FIXES 

  • Some players were able to fix the problem by rebooting their PlayStation several times. (We strongly advise users against doing so, as it may add to the problem and perhaps harm your console’s internal components. Please use caution when doing so.)
  • With your PS Plus subscription, you may also try logging out and back in.
  • On PlayStation Network’s website, you can check the status of the servers.
  • Enable auto-update on your system.
  • Reload your Elden Ring game after exiting and returning to the PlayStation home page.
  • Reboot your PlayStation again.
  • Reboot your wifi router if needed.

***We’ll update this post if Sony issues a more official announcement or repair. For now, these options appear to be your best bet, depending on whether you’ve already encountered the error or not. We don’t expect this to be a long-term issue for most gamers.
