When you complete Raya Lucaria Academy in Liurnia of the Lakes, you will meet Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, a demigod boss.
You will be rewarded with certain goods once the witch has been defeated. 40K Runes, Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen, and Great Rune of the Unborn are the three items.

Great Rune of the Unborn
The Great Rune of the Unborn, unlike other Elden Ring Runes, does not require activation because it does not grant a stat boost or anything like that.

You can finally Respec or reset your Elden Ring character’s stats by activating this Rennala-dropped Rune, which means starting from the beginning in the stats department to build a whole new character build. You can speak with Rennala after beating her in the Grand Library.
You’ll be able to experiment with the Rebirth menu if you have the Rune in your inventory. You can only do this if you have a Larval Tear, which is difficult to come by in Elden Ring.

In the Rebirth menu, you can use the tears to clear your levels and reassign them from the beginning.
This effectively resets your stats to the starting point of the class you choose at the start of Elden Ring. You’ll have to reassign all of your stat levels till you reach your present level.

If you’re unsatisfied with your current numbers or want to wield a specific weapon, this is a good approach to adjust your character’s build.
Because a Larval Tear is required each time you Respec your character, you should only do it when absolutely necessary. However, there are a dozen or so Larval Tears placed around the ER world, so feel free to respec as much as you like.
