What are incantations in Elden Ring?

In Elden Ring, incantation spells can be used to perform various things. From healing yourself to casting spells that can inflict damage on enemies, they can come in pretty handy on your journey. One of these incantation spells is the Poison Mist and most players consider this the most powerful incantation in the game.

And just as the name implies, casting the Poison Mist incantation poisons your enemies. But you can also poison enemies in a more direct way. If you have a poison-infused weapon, you can use this to hit your enemies and effectively poison them. What makes the Poison Mist special is you can poison your enemies without their knowledge. Moreover, it makes the job of defeating tough enemies in Elden Ring quicker and easier.

How to use Poison Mist incantation

Players need to have 12 faith to use this spell as well as a Sacred Seal. If you do not have a Sacred Seal yet, you can buy the Finger Seal from the Twin Maiden Husks. This NPC can be found at the Table of Lost Grace. Once you obtain the Finger Seal, you can finally start casting this spell.

Keep in mind that every time you use the Poison Mist spell, it costs you 18 FP. But even if it’s a bit costly to cast, this incantation is great if you’re going up against an enemy mob. If you won’t use the Poison Mist incantation exclusively to defeat enemies, it can be used to make enemies vulnerable.

We hope this guide helped you find the Poison Mist in Elden Ring.
