We are sorry but there has been an error connecting to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team – FIX

FIX 1 – UPDATE FIFA 22

  • EA is no stranger to FIFA Ultimate Team connection issues. In truth, this vexing bug has been plaguing the game for quite some time. Every time, EA was able to resolve the issue by releasing a hotfix for a few hours.
  • That is why you should check for updates first and install any pending FIFA 22 updates. To make the modifications take effect, restart your computer or console.

FIX 2 – CHECK EA ACCOUNT

  • Make sure you have a current subscription. To play FUT, you must have an active EA Access or Origin Access membership. Many users who experienced server difficulties reported that changing their account passwords fixed the problem.
  • Change your security question and preferred club in-game, while you’re on the subject of your account. Check if disabling 2FA helped as well.

FIX 3 – CHECK YOUR NETWORK

  • Your Internet connection could be one of the causes of this issue. Switch to a different network.
  • Restart your Modem.
  • Try using a wired connection.

FIX 4 – CHECK TIME SETTINGS

  • You won’t be able to connect to the FUT servers if your date and time settings are incorrect. This is because the servers’ security certificate date has a certain time frame.
  • Your connection will be stopped for security reasons if your computer or console does not meet that deadline. The best solution is to use automatic internet settings for date and time.

FIX 5 – DISABLE ANTIVIRUS AND FIREWALL

  • Disabling your antivirus and firewall software on your Windows machine may help you fix a variety of issues and difficulties. If the antivirus software or security application is running aggressively, running the game or connecting to the game server may stop ongoing connections.
    1. Search for virus and threat protection from the Start menu.
    2. Turn off real-time protection manually by clicking on it from the search result.
    3. Then, from the Start menu, look for defender firewall, open it, and manually turn it off.

FIX 6 – CLEAN BOOT

  • While the system is set up, there’s a good probability that some programs or software services will start automatically in the background. If this is the case, certain apps or services may use more internet data in addition to system resources. To quickly resolve such an issue, it is preferable to conduct a clean boot.
    1. Launch the Run dialogue box, and press Windows + R.
    2. To open System Configuration, type MSConfig and press Enter.
    3. Enable the Hide all Microsoft services checkbox on the Services tab.
    4. To save the settings, click Disable all > Apply and then OK.
    5. Now select the Startup tab and select Open Task Manager.
    6. The Task Manager window will appear. Go to the Startup tab here.
    7. Then select the task that has the greatest startup impact.
    8. After selecting them, click Disable to remove them from the startup process.
    9. Repeat the procedure for each program with a bigger beginning impact.
    10. After you’ve finished, restart your computer to effect the modifications.
