Far Cry 6: PC Requirements + Features!

With the release of Far Cry 6 just a month away, fans must be gearing up to receive the new installation in the beloved series. It is one of the most awaited releases lined up from Ubisoft. The villain is a character from the series Breaking Bad, piquing at fans’ interests and creating a lot of hype. The game is set to release on the 7th of October.

Recently, they have released a list of requirements that are needed to run the new game seamlessly. Along with this, Ubisoft’s PC Features Overview Trailer revealed that there will be support for ultra-wide screens and multi-monitor setups, a built-in benchmarking tool to customize settings, extensive customization for visuals and controls, and uncapped frame rates.

 

The required specs were revealed in a tweet from the official Far Cry 6 account.

 

In 1080p at 30 FPS and DirectX Raytracing Off:

CPU AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (3.1 GHz)
Intel i5-4460 (3.2 GHz)
GPU AMD RX 460 (4 GB)
NVIDIA GTX 960 (4 GB)
RAM 8 GB (Dual-channel mode)
STORAGE 60 GB HDD (SSD Recommended)

In 1080p at 60 FPS and DirectX Raytracing Off:

CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (3.8 GHz)
Intel i7-7700 (3.6 GHz)
GPU AMD RX VEGA64 – 8 GB or NVIDIA GTX 1080 – 8 GB
RAM 16 GB (Dual-channel mode)
STORAGE 60 GB HDD (SSD Recommended)

In 1440 p at 60 FPS and DirectX Raytracing off:

CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (3.8 GHz)
Intel i7-9700 (3.6 GHz)
GPU AMD RX 5700XT (8 GB)
NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER (8 GB)

While the higher-end PCs will have a good amount of work to do, it seems like most systems will be able to comfortably run the game at their own levels. Ubisoft’s PC Features Trailer has told us that there will be back-end changes to customize players’ experiences as they like. In all, it looks like the trip to Yara will be one all players will be able to take!
