FFXIV Endwalker: 7-Day Subscription Compensation For All, Says Director

Final Fantasy XIV players have now access to the content Endwalker. This allows us to finally see the widely anticipated conclusion to the game’s story, which began a decade ago. It had been years since the first version, which had been widely panned, and had reopened its servers.

Queue Time

The expansion’s official release date isn’t until December 7. But customers who pre-ordered it can already play it thanks to their Early Access. With that, a lot of users complain that they can’t manage to enter the game and overcome the massive waiting lines of several hours in all of its servers.

Not surprisingly, we’re talking about the fact that the game has surpassed 90,000 simultaneous users this weekend on Steam. A figure is far higher than the previous record of 67,000 set in July. Not to mention that it more than doubles the number of people who played this MMORPG prior to the addition of this new content (it had an average of 41,000 users).

7-Day Subscription Compensation For All

  • The good news is that the game’s director, Naoki Yoshida, and the entire development team are aware of the situation and understand how frustrating it can be to want to play but not be able to, which is why they recently announced that all active players will receive a seven-day subscription as compensation for these inconveniences. They’ve also said that if the problems expand, they’ll be able to give away even more days.
  • There are no major issues with accessing the game early in the morning or late at night (if you are an early riser, you will be able to enter immediately without waiting), but afternoon, the queues become increasingly long throughout, not to mention that some errors begin to occur while you wait.
