A few years ago, the famous franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s made exciting news about a movie adaptation. So, who are the confirmed characters we can expect to appear in the upcoming movie Five Nights at Freddy’s?

What is Five Nights at Freddy’s all about?

Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) is a popular video game franchise for horror lovers. It was developed by Scott Cawthon and first released in 2014.

The game is set in a fictional pizza restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, where animatronic characters as main antagonists will come to life at night and stalk (will likely kill) players who have been given the role of a security guard.

The franchise has gained a massive following and has since expanded to include books, merchandise, and now a highly anticipated movie adaptation will premiere later this year.

The infamous guitarist of the animatronic party band, Bonnie the Bunny will make his appearance in the movie. In the game, Bonnie usually is the most eager to kill people, being the first one to leave the stage at night. Will he be the same in the movie?

Chica the Chicken

Chica the Chicken can be seen in the trailer, standing idle beside Bonnie. Fans of FNAF will definitely be waiting for Chica to sing the iconic phrase “Hey I’m Chica, the lady of the group my singing is a treat, but keep an eye on your pizza, ‘CUZ I’M A BIRD WHO LIKES TO EAT!”

Foxy the Pirate Fox

In addition to the animatronics, the movie will also feature human casts, with some notable names attached to the project:

  • Josh Hutcherson, known for his role in The Hunger Games franchise and from the classic fiction Bridge to Terabithia will be playing the lead role, named Mike Schmidt.
