Fortnite: Season 3 Chapter 5 Boss Locations

There are five distinct bosses on the battlefield; each one presents a difficult battle and valuable rewards. With this extensive tutorial, you will be able to defeat these bosses.

Boss Locations

1. Cerberus

   

   • Location: Grim Gate, a familiar landmark from Season 2 Chapter 5.
   • Challenge: An idol no longer calls Cerberus into existence, unlike in Season 2. Rather, go up to him and start a duel.
   • Strategy: While Cerberus lacks his fearsome wolf pack, his trusty Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun remains a threat. Utilize cover effectively and focus on depleting his health before he gets close. Shotguns or SMGs excel in this close-quarters combat.
   • Reward: Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun

2. The Machinist

   

   • Location: Primarily found at Redline Rig, but also patrols the map in a convoy. Look for the golden gear symbol on the map to track her movement.
   • Challenge: The Machinist packs a punch with her Combat Assault Rifle and is aided by armed minions.
   • Strategy: Maintain mid-range combat to avoid her minions’ attacks and The Machinist’s close-quarters capabilities. Focus fire on The Machinist first, taking down her minions if they become overwhelming. Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles are well-suited for this fight.
   • Rewards: The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle & Medallion

3. Megalo Don

   

   • Location: Primarily found at Brutal Beachhead, but also patrols the map in a vehicle alongside a War Bus. Look for the gold skull icon on the map to track his movement.
   • Strategy: Megalo Don specializes in close combat with his devastating Nitro Fists. Avoid getting cornered and maintain distance at all costs. Utilize ranged weapons and explosives before finishing him off with a shotgun. Shotguns are risky here, use them only if absolutely necessary.
   • Rewards: Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists, Combat Shotgun, Medallion & Behemoth vehicle

4. Oscar

   

   • Location: Resides at the luxurious Classy Courts.
   • Challenge: Interact with Oscar to initiate a duel.
   • Strategy: Oscar boasts a large health pool and a powerful shield, making him a resilient opponent. Focus fire with high DPS weapons like SMGs or Assault Rifles.
   • Reward: Oscar’s Frenzy Auto Shotgun

5. Ringmaster Scarr

   

   • Location: Nitrodrome, a new point of interest known for its abundance of loot and car mods.
   • Challenge: Survive the initial mayhem at Nitrodrome, which often features multiple players competing for loot. Locate Ringmaster Scarr, typically found upstairs. While initially non-hostile, be the first to attack to claim her loot.
   • Strategy: The key to defeating Ringmaster Scarr is navigating the initial chaos of Nitrodrome. Land strategically, prioritize acquiring good weapons and shields, and then focus on taking down Ringmaster Scarr before other players do. SMGs or Shotguns are ideal for this close-quarters brawl.
   • Rewards: Ringmaster Scarr’s Medallion, Boom Bolt & Lockjaw vehicle

 Important Note: Each boss drops unique and powerful rewards. Consider teaming with other players to attack tougher bosses like Megalo Don.

1. Shotguns: Both Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun and Megalo Don’s Combat Shotgun are excellent choices for close-quarters combat.
2. Assault Rifles: The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle offers great versatility at most ranges.
3. Specialty Weapons: Oscar’s Frenzy Auto Shotgun, a weapon absent from the standard loot pool, boasts a high rate of fire, and Ringmaster’s Boom Bolt is a powerful explosive weapon.
4. Vehicles: Megalo Don’s Behemoth and Ringmaster Scarr’s Lockjaw are unique vehicles offering special advantages.
