Earlier this month, Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 3 landed in a very surprising fashion. After years of updates, improvements, wonderful additions, and crazy crossovers, Fortnite continues to give its fans a lot of things to look forward to each year. Just recently, leaks of new weapons, as well as some other new stuff, are surfacing online.

According to one of the most reliable Fortnite leakers, HYPEX (@HYPEX), there will be a handful of new weapons coming our way this season (Chapter 3, Season 3).

FORTNITE’S NEW WEAPONS THIS SEASON

In a tweet they posted on Twitter, HYPEX teased all Fortnite fans with rumors about new weapons which will be featured in Season 3. Some of which are:

  • Firework Gun
  • Sawblade/Saw Launcher/Saw Gun
  • Overload Shotgun
  • Charge SMG
  • Grapple Glove
  • Light Sabers and E-11 Blaster Rifles

Firework Gun

As the name suggests, Firework Gun sounds like a lot of – Fireworks, duh! Among all of the weapons that will be mentioned, Firework Gun seems to be the most promising. Despite all that, there is still another weapon rumored to be much more “explosive”. Find out more below.

Sawblade/Saw Launcher/Saw Gun

Sawblade (or Saw Launcher/Saw Gun) was first seen in the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 gameplay trailer released on June 5, 2022. If you watched the trailer, you can see that Adira is holding what looks to be an automatic mechanical saw weapon. In the video, the weapon releases charges of saw blades used to destroy wooden forts. Though there is no official name for this weapon yet, we are definitely gonna be seeing this one on the battlefield very soon.

Overload Shotgun

There are only a few details we know so far about the new shotgun in Fortnite. Prior to this one, Fortnite’s most recent shotgun addition was the Two-Shot shotgun. Now, prepare yourselves for a much superior weapon – Overload Shotgun. According to reports, this one is terrifyingly powerful with a 110 – 134 damage per shot and headshot damage of up to 190. It is rumored to be a fast-firing weapon but slightly slow in reloading. This one will surely blow your mind!

Charge SMG

As informed by HYPEX, this new submachine gun (SMG) can be found in usual spots (i.e. Reality Fruits, Floor Loots, and Chests). However, as the ratings are going, this weapon is obviously not the weapon of choice for most players. But, hey, it’s still a new weapon!

Grapple Gloves

According to various leaks, Grapple Gloves are very similar to Spidey’s epic web-shooters. as we all know, the legendary web-shooters were removed from the game right after season 1 (Chapter 3). Since then, players have been asking Fortnite to bring it back once again.

Though Spider-Man’s most priced possession is not yet returning to the spotlight, the game is introducing a similar weapon – Grapple Gloves. Unlike the web-shooters, Grapple Gloves will be a limited-use device that is still perfect for mobility and travel in-game.

Along with the coming of Darth Vader in Fortnite, the Sith Lord may bring with him the return of Lightsabers plus the addition of E-11 Blaster Rifles. As these are just speculations, we advise all aspiring Jedi to not get their hopes too high. But, who knows, maybe the FORCE is strong in this one!
