A new Fortnite leak from a credible source shows an upcoming map change. The leak claims that two locations are going to change because of the Reality Bloom effect. Read on to find out more about the latest leak for Fortnite Chapter 3.
The Reality Bloom effect is responsible for map changes in Fortnite
At the start of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, the Reality Tree was launched. However, not much is known about it other than the fact that Zero Point powers the Reality Tree. Additionally, this location is also able to alter reality, making the game’s lore even more interesting.
In a recent tweet from credible Fortnite leaker and insider HYPEX, they revealed that a major map change is expected in future updates. According to HYPEX, the map change will affect two locations: Sleepy Sound and Condo Canyon.
The next 2 POIs that will get the Reality Bloom effect are:

Once the Reality Bloom effect sets in, the points of interest (POIs) in the two locations are merging. This means that all POIs in Sleepy Sound are coming together. Same goes for Condo Canyon.
Furthermore, the Reality Bloom effect means previous locations that have been removed in Fortnite are making comebacks.
Here are previews of the map changes players can expect in future Fortnite updates.
Sleepy Sound map change
For Sleepy Sound, this location will shift and bring back the following POIs on the map: Tilted Town, Neo Tilted, Coliseum, and Coral Castle.
And in the image shared by Fortnite content creator Koooooomar, Condo Canyon also gets a makeover. Because of the Reality Bloom effect, we can expect to see the following POIs back in the game: Tilted Town, Lazy Lagoon, Coliseum, and Coral Castle.
This isn’t the first time the Reality Tree made a map change
After Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 dropped, it included the Reality Tree. And at first, players celebrated it because of its beautiful visuals. However, players soon observed strange changes in the map after the Reality Tree arrived in Fortnite.
Because of the Reality Bloom caused by the tree, it merges all these realities into one. Some players even thought that their game files were corrupted after seeing the Temple Ruins in Fortnite again. However, this is what the community calls the Reality Bloom effect.
Various Fortnite theories claim that although it is enjoyable, the map changes brought about by the Reality Tree are concerning. After Zero Point was released from The Bridge, we’ve seen how The Island is just going wild with all these location changes.
So even though all these locations coming back are a good trip down memory lane, is The Island truly safe? We’re certainly looking forward to where Fortnite is going to go in its next updates.
