Fortnite - How to Unlock Sulfuric Street Shine

After the latest patch in Fortnite, players can claim their free Volcanic Assassin Pack. Included in the pack is the Sulfuric Street Shine Pickaxe. However, players need to finish a series of challenges first before they can unlock this epic harvesting tool. Read on to find out how to unlock the Sulfuric Shine Pickaxe in Fortnite.

How to unlock Sulfuric Street Shine Pickaxe in Fortnite

To unlock the Sulfuric Street Shine Pickaxe, players need to complete the accompanying Volcanic Assassin challenge for this cosmetic. The Volcanic Assassin challenges unlock different cosmetics included in the Volcanic Assassin pack in Fortnite. One of the challenges requires you to survive storm phases. Moreover, another Volcanic Assassin challenge asks players to set a certain number of structures on fire.

For the Sulfuric Street Shine Pickaxe, players need to meet the following requirement: deal 2,100 damage to enemy players. After doing that, players can now redeem the harvesting tool included in the free quest pack from Fortnite.

Completing these challenges will reward players with all of the cosmetics included in the Volcanic Assassin pack. Additionally, the challenges do not have a time limit. But redeeming the Volcanic Assassin pack is only until June 16, so better get your hands on the free quest pack as soon as you can. How to get

To get access to this harvesting tool in Fortnite, players need to “purchase” first the Volcanic Assassin Pack. This quest pack is free for all players on PC which essentially means that players on other platforms cannot redeem it.

PC

For PC players, all they have to do is log onto Fortnite and head to the in-game shop. From there, they can redeem the Volcanic Assassin Pack for free in the Special Offers and Bundles section. After obtaining the pack, the Volcanic Assassin challenges are instantly unlocked.

Mobile/Console

However, there is a workaround to that if players on other platforms really want this free quest pack. Follow the steps below to get the Sulfuric Street Shine Pickaxe along with other cosmetics in Fortnite. But just a heads up that this method can be done through the use of a smartphone.

  • Go to the official site of NVIDIA GeForce Now using your browser
  • Then, scroll down until you find your device in the Browser Experience section. From there, click on the launch button
  • Afterward, you’ll have NVIDIA GeForce Now on your device
  • Log in with your Fortnite account
  • After doing that, the main lobby of Fortnite will load
  • From there, go to the in-game shop and claim the Volcanic Assassin Pack from the Special Offers and Bundles section
