Fortnite: Tilted Towers Officially Back!

Tilted Towers, one of the most famous of all buildings in Fortnite, will return in the free-to-play multiplayer game tomorrow! The city appears to be beneath the massive icy blocks in the southwest of the map.

Tilted Towers will make its major return tomorrow, Tuesday, January 18, according to a cryptic tweet that leaves no question in the Fortnite community.

One more sleep!

  • The speculation of the famed zone’s comeback has been circulating on social media for some weeks, virtually since the beginning of this season, propelled primarily by numerous interpretations and data mining of Fortnite Battle Royale archives.
  • Fans questioned how long the snow would melt; more significantly, when the area south of Lake Coney Crossroads with its massive ice cubes would warm up as the terrain was affected due to glacial melt.
  • With the fifth episode of Fortnite Chapter 3’s map makeover and the melting snow, we finally know the answer: it will be tomorrow.

Rebuilding…

During the first season of Fortnite, Tilted Towers was one of the most popular starting areas. The city has transformed throughout the chapter, perfectly representing Epic Games’ ingenuity in evolving its map. The city has been a modern city following Jonesy’s trip into the future.

The area was devastated due to an in-game incident.  Fans could see it being reconstructed day by day, with modest changes every day. A moving crane, the floor of a tower under construction… Until the city is complete and ready to stage the tensest fights.

It’s unclear whether Tilted Towers will remain unchanged from its last appearance in Fortnite Chapter 3 or will undergo some changes.
