Fortnite: Update v17.21, Patch Notes, Downtime, All Details

Fortnite Update v17.21, Patch Notes, Downtime, All Details

Fortnite fans, it’s time to get hyped as the new version 17.21 update is coming today, i.e., 27th July 2021. Just last week v17.20 was launched with an additional vehicle and a DBNO device, and a new update is coming already. So, here’s when it releases and what it brings with it.

Downtime

The servers will go down at approximately 3:30 AM ET (7:30 AM UTC), announced the official Fortnite status Twitter Account. The time it will be down for is unknown as of now but it must be somewhere similar to previous maintenance breaks, which is around an hour or so.

“Take up the power… of science! Fortnite v17.21 is scheduled for release on July 27. In preparation for the update, services will be disabled starting at approx. 03:30 AM ET (07:30 UTC)”, the tweet read.

Sadly, there’s no additional content in the most recent update, but the game did receive a new preferred items slots feature and eight fresh challenges. But we expect some new content and challenges to be added in today’s update.

Patch Notes and Leaks

Unfortunately, we don’t have any information regarding what to expect from the new Fortnite update. But Epic Games have been posting official Fortnite Patch Notes which they haven’t done since the start of chapter 2. They will likely publish the patch notes on the official website, once the servers are back up after maintenance.

At this point, we don’t think there will be many leaks about it as it’s just about to drop and we’ll see whatever new content they will add for ourselves. Rest assured, if any leaks are posted by data miners, we will be back with new information for you. Till then, check out for the new update at 3:30 AM ET1
