Fortnite: Update v18.10, All Patch Notes

Fortnite Update v18.10, All Patch Notes

Fortnite fans, it’s time to get hyped as the new version 18.10 update is here now on schedule. You must have been experiencing server down notice a few hours ago because the game was undergoing an update. Just last to last week v18 was launched with the Armoured Walls, and a new update is here already. So, without wasting any further time, here’s all that it brings along.

Chili Chug Splash

The creators of Chug Splash just dropped Chili Chug Splash, which is an energy booster drink. Not only does it restore Health and Shield, but Chili Chug Splash also gives you a speed boost. They are Exotic and can be found in Loot Llamas or you can exchange Bars with The Brat to get them.

Original Chug Splash Re-released

Epic Games has not just introduced Chili Chug Splash as it also re-released the original Chug Splash. Some players might remember it from before and know exactly how it works. It is essentially the same as Chili Chug Splash minus the kick and speed boost. You can pick some Chug Splash up as a normal loot item as it is widely used in the game.

Hunter’s Cloak

Sometimes sneaking around can prove to be a bit difficult in Fornite as you might get noticed by enemies and creatures. The issue can now be forgotten as you can craft your very own Hunter’s Cloak. It can be crafted by combining Meat as a few players might remember. Like Chug Splash, this is also a return item brought back owing to the demand of fans.

New Sideways Weapons and Elimination Manager

As expected, a bunch of new battle royale items has been added as well, which include:

  • Sideways Minigun (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary)
  • Sideways Rifle (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary)
  • Paint Launcher (Orange, Purple)
  • Paint Grenades (Orange, Purple)
  • Monster Shards Cube Monster Parts (Ingredients)

The elimination manager has also been updated in this new version. It brings support for Fiends, Wildlife, and Sentries, as well as randomization and elimination penalties. You can read all the details about the same by clicking here.

Home Base Status Report

First of all, now all Heroes with the “Band Member” tag will be able to activate the Boom B.A.S.E Team Perk. Moving on to Homebase Status Report, the Jonsee-Bot enters the event store on October 2. The Grave Digger will also make its return on October 9. Apart from that, The Lars Pack will also be arriving, which brings a new Hero, a new Outfit, and much more. You can read all the details about the same by clicking here.

Balance Changes

  • Slipstreams will disable at the final Storm circle in core playlists.
  • Slipstreams will disable at phase 5 of the Storm in competitive playlists.
  • Chug Cannons will no longer be available from Loot Llamas.
  • Sideways Anomalies will despawn earlier than they did previously in competitive playlists
  • Removal of The Rail Gun from competitive playlists.

A bunch of other UI/UX changes has been done as well. Some bug fixes have also been implemented and Toona fish canvas styles have been added. You can read all about it here.

That aside, minutes ago, Fortnite also presented the soundwave series which are musical shows kicking off with Mohamed Hamaki from 1st October. You can check the lineup of the event right here.
