One of the challenges during Week 2 of Fortnite x Coachella is launching Fireworks. The quest does not provide any other instructions, so there are a lot of players confused on how to finish this. First thing players have to do is access the event-themed Island and spawn there. Players can use this Island Code 5449-4207-1280 in Creative mode or look for Coachella Island in Discovery mode.

  • Once you’re in Coachella Island, look for the board with a timer on it.
  • You do not need to interact or use anything in order to start the Fireworks display in Coachella Island. As soon as you arrive on the Island, the countdown automatically begins.

  • An on-screen prompt will also pop up telling players to return to the main island. This shows up 1 minute before the Fireworks go off in the Fortnite x Coachella island.

  • Afterwards, wait for the timer to count down to 0 and your surroundings will immediately change. Fireworks will start going off in the vast sky of Coachella Island.

After using Fireworks, players can soar in the air and enjoy the show from different angles

Once you use up all your Fireworks, you can actually hop on the Sky Stream and start gliding in the air. The Firework Show will continue even when you’re gliding, so this is a fun way to appreciate the beauty of Coachella Island!

At some point, the show ends and Coachella Island goes back to normal. If you want to start up another Firework Show, you need to wait for 15 minutes again. Taking part in the show and using your Fireworks will also complete one of the quests and challenges during this limited-time event.
