Fortnite and My Hero Academia collab

Collaborating isn’t new to Fortnite and its fans, collaborating with anime giants isn’t new as well. Licensing characters from Star Wars or even the huge Naruto, they love giving these surprises to their fans. And for this Chapter 4 Season 1, they may have found the best collab to kick off this new era of the game, introducing My Hero Academia.

  • Prepare for another addition to the star-studded match-ups in Fortnite’s Battle Royale. This collaboration has been confirmed by Epic Games and Fortnite. A Tweet left the fans thrilled to reach the end of this week. Yep, Fortnite x My Hero Academia collaboration drops on Friday, December 16th!

  • To be honest, fans just wanted a specific date of release, and we’re glad to have it! If you’ve watched the official launch trailer of Fortnite (we have the clip above if you haven’t!), you’ll probably see Deku there. At the 1:14 mark, you can see him off the ground and utilizing his powers.

How to get Deku skin?

If you’re wondering how you can get the Deku skin, the answer you need should probably be here. Nothing is confirmed yet, however, we can expect it probably in the shop. We hate to break it to you, but most probably, Izuku Midoriya AKA Deku is not included in Fortnite’s Battle Pass.

  • The way you can acquire Deku is by purchasing his skin in the in-game shop. Yes, you’ll be needing at least 2000 V-Bucks or more if you plan to have his skin. Moreover, we’re pretty sure there would be more skins and bundles offered!

More about the collaboration

Well, if you’re thinking of getting a Deku skin, we don’t think that’s enough. On December 12th, a famous Fortnite leaker @ShiinaBR on Twitter may have shared that there would be My Hero Academia skins (yes, plural form, so not only Deku). Check out the Tweet below!

  • If you also missed out, they posted a first look at the Deku skin. The character is pretty much the same as seen in the official launch trailer. Well, not really far from what he looks like in My Hero Academia, he looks cute though.

  • Let’s wait for the official release of the Fortnite x My Hero Academia collaboration for Friday. We hope to see more MHA character skins in the shop, hmm, and maybe some free stuff. Epic Games and Fortnite, come on, give us some goodies!
